We wake up everyday like we are in a routine similar to groundhog's day. During this time we usually begin to forget about the little things that actually matter more than anything else. We do not show appreciation to those who are around us and really love us for who we are and show loyalty as well as support. Life is too short for any type of doubt or regret or what "if's" or what "could've been" so if you have that opportunity to speak to whoever that person might be, then you do it. Never hold anything back or be afraid of voicing yourself, it might be your only chance to express yourself. Tell them how you feel and open to them and you'll see how it will change you in a positive way and create more ground in that relationship. Whether it's your spouse, son or daughter, friend or loved one or even an enemy it will show you more about your character and as a human being as well as your ability to communicate your thoughts to someone else...


If your put in a situation where your told "it's a slight chance" then you go with the slight chance simply because you NEVER GIVE UP especially if it's family! I have a friend who like all of us is going through his rough times, but he is strong. I admire the tenacity and the will to keep going, but at times I would see him burnt out because in all reality it takes a huge toll on you... Overall though if your reading this know that I will go to hell on back with you and I am proud of calling you a friend...
I am thankful for everybody that's around me at this point in my life and would not trade anyone of them for anything! To the team: Know that I am where I am because of the 3 of you and I am honored to work with the best.

The Monday Interlude

What's good ya'll,


I'm here @ St. Thomas University paying my peoples a visit. It's been a mintute since I last stepped into a school and wasn't a) trying to avoid teachers b)in trouble with the faculty or c) football related... Come to find out some of the students here have not only heard and follow our wonderful world of creating music, but they show the upmost appreciation for our work. Of course I do not take full credit since it's a team of people that have made the "DaVincci & St. LaRok" sound what it is. All in all I do admire the fact the youth has taken time to listen to what we really have to say and not feed into the gimmicks of this industry. It would greatly honor us to perform for these students and showcase our side of the story sort of speak. At the end of the day I just want to thank everybody who has taken their time out to listen to us, those who have encouraged and believe in us as well as those who help create the music overall. Without you guys we wouldn't be doing this and basically would have no type of drive or initiative to keep going. Know that I write or better said rhyme for those who cannot word what they really feel or want to get off their chest. We are the voice of our cities youth and care about nothing more than to make music that'll impact lives but still keep it Street Hop (Hardcore for those who don't know what I'm talking about).

Just got home from a great day @ the MBW studios. Today we continued the vibe of last night after creating a CRAZY beat with the homie Chip WIlliams of MBW. I decided to do my version of a amazing record by west coast resident Bishop Lamont called "Friends". Soon as I heard this, I just zoned out and wrote my verses on the spot. This actually took me back as I was thinking of certain times of my life and felt it was something everybody can relate to...

Today we finished our version of "Lark On My Go-Kart" @ Miami Beat Wave Studios. Much respect to the homie Asher for delivering what he even called "One of my best rhymes on my album period". We felt Asher Roth did an amazing job on it but it also inspired us to create entertaining rhymes out of the heavy drum loop Instrumental. Obviously it's not the same direction he took it, but we definitely did it under the influence of some FIRE shit ya dig?! We just laid back on the mushrooms!
